Key Customer Manager
Reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager, the Key Customer Manager will be responsible for the delivery of Customer Solutions capabilities. This will include working within the Customer Team and with cross-functional groups to deliver a customer facing capacity that will assist and advise priority customers, incorporating industry and sector expertise on the application of energy efficiency and renewable gas solutions to support customers to be more energy efficient and to decarbonise.
Project Engineer
Reporting to the Business Delivery Manager, the Projects Engineer will coordinate collaborative projects both with external stakeholders and internal departments, and will assist in the development of business plans and assessments and support the development of Business Delivery in Gas Networks Ireland.
Field Operations Technician
The Asset Operations function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the construction, operations and maintenance of the Transmission and Distribution networks, executing all field work safely and efficiently in line with all relevant legislation, standards, industry codes and practices. The Network Operations team within Asset Operations is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the transmission and distribution networks. Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Field Operations Technician. Reporting to the Networks Coordinator or their delegate, the Field Operations Technician is responsible for the delivery of construction, commissioning, operational, maintenance and decommissioning activities on Natural Gas Pipeline, Pressure Control and Metering Assets on the transmission and distribution networks in a safe and efficient manner.
Senior Asset Engineer - Installations
Reporting to the Asset Manager for Installations, the Senior Asset Engineer will develop policies, strategies and plans to meet safety, regulatory and business requirements while maximizing and sustaining the value of the assets.
Senior Design Engineer C&I
The Asset Delivery function within Gas Networks Ireland is responsible for the end-to-end planning, designing and delivery of GNI’s portfolio of asset development programmes. Encompassing the three pillars of Project Delivery Management, Design Delivery and Project Services; the Asset Delivery function brings together all the technical and project support capabilities needed to take high-level projects and programmes from the Portfolio Office and translate these through from detailed design and planning, to construction delivery and handover to Asset Operations. Reporting to the Design Delivery Lead Connections, the Senior Design Engineer Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (E,C&I) will have responsibility for the detailed design of capital and operational projects for price control (refurbishment, replacement, maintenance, upgrades) of pipelines, above ground installations, CNG, Biomethane and compressors across the gas network. The Senior Design Engineer will manage the design element of projects (end to end) and outsourced engineering providers ensuring a high-quality design service is delivered within Design Delivery. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead a team, to effectively diagnose technical issues and have knowledge of gas related process design. The Senior Design Engineer E,C&I will work closely with Senior Design Engineer Mechanical to ensure the end to end design process is aligned to meet the overall project and programme timelines within Design Delivery.
Design Category Specialist

Reporting to the Technical Assurance Lead, the Design Category Specialist will support the design delivery element of projects, programmes, contracts and frameworks, troubleshooting and navigating complexities to meet Design Delivery objectives. This will involve understanding project and programme timelines to forward plan and coordinate sourcing requirements, support execution of contracts, frameworks, approvals across Tx and Dx. This role will commence in Design Delivery and over a period of time may transition to Supply Chain when deliverables and services required by Design Delivery are understood.
